Sometimes life doesn't go the way we plan it to go and we must find a way to pivot. All too often, figuring out a rough draft for a new direction is what we need to focus on while we strategize toward a new, BIG picture plan. This is the heart of our Mental Health Urgent Care.
Our agency strives to get you connected the same or next day for an appointment with one of our clinical staff. That said, we are not the ER, we aren't open 24/7, and there may be instances where we cannot accommodate, such as weekends and holidays.
Contact us during business hours Monday through Friday and we will offer you at least one time within 24 hours with few exceptions. Please be aware that this applies toward urgent scenarios only and will NOT lead to regular appointments.
So what is an "urgent" mental health situation that might benefit from this service?
Some issues may be too great for our urgent care, such as:
Our crisis services are designed to help you overcome personal challenges that are too severe to be "waitlisted," yet not severe enough to consider the emergency room or acute care hospitalization.
Our licensed practitioners and interns provide a supportive and non-judgmental environment where you can explore your more pressing thoughts and feelings, gain insights into your behavior, and develop immediate strategies for positive change and stabilization.
The goal of our Mental Health Urgent Care is to help you walk away with new options that you may have struggled with on your own.
Sometimes, it's very helpful to simply figure out a plan and a direction, which in and of itself helps most people feel ALOT better.
Other times, it's as simple as figuring out a few next steps with someone trained to listen non judgmentally. Ultimately, we're here for you, every step of the way.
The rates for crisis services vary, depending on if you use insurance, as well as the length of your session. Generally, sessions are scheduled for about 50 minutes.

*Mental Health Urgent Care appointments are generally available same or next day, however, times available are by availability only with our staff. This service does not guarantee immediate regular appointments, however, we will prioritize regular appointments as they come available.
We aren't the right "fit" for everthing and we aren't open 24/7... If your need is more critical, or if you need services when we are not available, consider one of the following options:
- Call the National Suicide Hotline at 988
- Contact Reno Behavioral Healthcare Hospital at 775-393-2200
- Carson Tahoe Regional Medical at 775-445-8000
- If immediate help is needed, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room
